Are all other switch ports in VLAN 1? Yes

Which switch ports are in VLAN 10? Fa0/5, Fa0/6

Which switch ports are in VLAN 20? Fa0/7, Fa0/8 

 

What difference is noticed between the two commands show vlan brief and show vlan?

show vlan brief is Displays a summarized list showing only the active VLANs and the ports associated with each one (Menampilkan daftar diringkas hanya menampilkan aktif VLAN dan port yang terkait dengan masing-masing)

show vlan is displays a detailed list of all of the VLAN numbers and names currently active on the switch, along with the ports associated with each one anda displays STP statistics if configured on a per VLAN basis

(menampilkan daftar terperinci dari semua jumlah VLAN dan nama saat ini aktif di saklar, bersama dengan port yang terkait dengan masing-masing menampilkan statistik STP anda jika dikonfigurasi pada per VLAN dasar )

VERIFY CONNECTIVITY

1. Ping from each PC to Switch1 address of 172.16.1.2.

Are PC1 pings successful? Yes (successful)

Are PC2 pings successful? No (not successful)

Are PC3 pings successful? No (not successful)

2. Ping from PC1 to PC2 and PC3.

Can PC1 ping PC2? Can not

Can PC1 ping PC3? Can not

REFLECTION

1. Why can PC1 ping Switch1 when PC2 and PC3 cannot?

Because PC1 with IP Switch is a network, whereas PC2 and PC3 different network and vlan with PC1

2. The PCs cannot ping each other. Why?

Because, PCs are in difference network or difference VLAN
